In a surprising partnership that defies traditional expectations, the game developer has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Revealed

According to the formal announcement, "An unusual meeting leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The plot introduces a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a clandestine sect.

The questline centers on "strange tests and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Metamorphoses

The teaser highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Extra Content

Players who accomplish the mission will receive an exclusive katana in addition to numerous objects hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Latest Free Story Addition
